Pastor: James (Brother Buddy) Woods 
James (Bro. Buddy) Woods has been the pastor of Temple Baptist Church since 2002, having also served churches in Tennessee, Missouri and Texas. He earned a B. A. degree from Union University in Jackson, TN and Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He is in agreement with the theology of "The Baptist Faith and Message 2000", adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
James and his wife, Dell, are blessed with three married children and five grandchildren. With a strong sense of calling to shepherd the flock of God entrusted to his care, he longs to see people become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. He enjoys reading, Mexican food, all sports and is a fan of the University of Memphis. He is a native of Memphis, TN.
